With the increasing popularity of URL shortening services, you may want to create one for your own.
Kissa.be is a free URL shortening script built with PHP & uses MySQL for storing data.
Besides URLs, it can shorten links to images, e-mails & text.
Once a "-" character is added to end of the short URLs, stats for any shortened link or text can be viewed within a frame above the content including pageviews & unique pageviews.
This URL shortening script also comes with an API support that will let anyone to integrate 3rd party applications to the system.
